Update: Progress on Actions

With the start of the academic year 2025-26, Harvard continues to advance its fundamental commitment to being a community in which everyone can thrive in the shared pursuit of our mission of excellence in teaching, learning and research. This commitment includes ensuring that all members of the University’s Jewish community feel welcome at Harvard and can pursue their academic endeavors and campus life free from hate, bias, and discrimination.

University actions and commitments

Harvard University is resolved in our commitment to combating antisemitism and anti-Israeli bias. The University has taken and continues to take substantive actions to advance this commitment through both University-wide and School-specific initiatives aligned with preliminary and final recommendations put forward by the Presidential Task Force guided by Harvard’s commitment to open inquiry and academic freedom.
